Below is a list of UX and UI projects for Landchecker Pty Ltd roadmap 2021-2023. I have followed UX design processes to discover, define, develop & deliver projects and imporvements based on our user needs and goals. I segemented these insights into recognizable, consistently-represented design systems that are valuable to the user and the user’s real world mental model, thus making it easier for users to navigate and get things done in the Landchecker software.

︎Delete Business account


When I started working at Lanchecker there was no journey for member to delete their business accounts. These flows had be developed without a user experience designer and it presented a clear problem: memebers could not change plans, upgrade/downgrade and join other organisations without havenig to concact the Landchekcer support line which had to be done manually. We discovered and defined the following user scenarios requiered seamsless solutions. Below is the UX Research and definitions of the complex objects map and the designs our team proposed.

︎Property Reports


Landchecker’s Premium Property Report are one of the most popular prodcust, it gives users a comprehensive summary of their subject property. Apart from the details provided in the free report, the Premium Property Report gives them information about planning permits and planning schemes affecting the subject property.


︎ UX Research We needed to find out the needs of the variuos personas and understand what data to prioritise in order to give them a customised experience and allow them to build their property reports fitting these needs.

We conducted and inapp survey and user interviews in order to understand usability and frequency in which these personas would requiere property reports. This allowed us further understand which personas purchased and dowloaded the most property reports and allowed us to undertand which data sets we could dislay for free or under a paid plan. Aligning and prioritising our business goals along with the users goals.

︎Property Certificates


︎UX Research

A property certificate contains important land, building or planning information.


Property information certificates are used when a property is being bought or sold. Talk to a conveyancer or lawyer to find out what you need to supply as a seller or what to check for if you are a buyer. Normally, a conveyancer, lawyer or property professional will order certificates on your behalf. Conveyancers are our primary persona for this case study. In order to develop this functionality we researched, surveyed and interviewed conveyancers and all other users


The following certificates became our main data focus:


Land valuations and rates, Building regulations, Planning restrictions, VicRoads, Conservation, Heritage listings, Water, Sewers and drains, Flood levels,Bushfire areas and Land tax.


Landchecker offers its solution through a few ways, depending on how you need to use it.



Documents can be purchased with or without a Plan.  


Our goal was to provide competitive rates for documents, we aimed to beat the best price in the market.

︎Projects Functionality

The Projects functionality is used to build out an inventory of the job history. Users can save properties to projects, add notes to a project or a property, upload documents to a project such as titles, copy of plans or company searches and share to collaborate across teams.

Projects can also Site Finder advanced search filters to narrow down an entire state to a handful of suitable sites in seconds then save users results to a project to collaborate on with team members.




The Projects functionality was updated and the following features where added and improved to:

  • Create unlimited projects
  • Save unlimited properties to a project
  • Edit, share, archive and delete projects
  • Add descriptions to projects
  • Add notes to properties within projects
  • Upload documents to a project
  • View projects on the map or as a list view




︎NSW LRS Document Search

NSW LRS provides lodgment and registration services for Real Property Act (or Torrens title) land and common law (or old system) title land as well as for the registration of deeds and a variety of other instruments.


We conducted surveys and user interviews to find out wether this documents would enhance the user experience for our users. The reason behind it was mainly because most of these documents are availabe in goverment websites that are complex and cnfusing but are free of charge. However we concluded from research that these documents would bring a whole group of users such as sole traders and home owners into our plattform.

We partnered with the NSW Land Regstry Service to incorporated the remaining property documents available in the state of New South Wales, this way completing our user experience for NSW users allowing them to pruchase all documents relating to a property all in one.

︎Set new card as primary card under Business Account

small iterations can reduce support enquieries and improve the app experience of the user. For this project we added a default setting into the new credit card added to the user business settings.

︎2FA Flow and wireframes

2FA protects against phishing, social engineering and password brute-force attacks and secures your logins from attackers exploiting weak or stolen credentials. This dramatically improves the security of login attempts. 2FA has also been shown to block nearly all automated bot-related attacks.

︎Business account Dashboard


Dashboards are useful for monitoring, measuring, and analyzing relevant data in key areas. They take raw data from many sources within the app and clearly present it in a way that's highly tailored to the viewer's needs—whether the user is an architech, business owner, business analyst, sales representative or a developer; keeping an eye on this data help the user understand the business metrics.
